Vintage Diamond 18KT Gold Plated Ski Pin Made in America by Ultralite- Orig. Box

This unique pin does not react to my strong magnet at all, not even the pin back so I'm not sure what metal is beneath the gold or if possibly sterling silver is underneath the 18kt gold plating. As you can see the word "Skiing" is filled with bright Silver. Original sticker and box. Would make a great gift for a Ski Enthusiast or competitor. The two gems in the boots may be diamonds but I can't be entirely sure since I cannot find this piece anywhere on the internet or in any of my literature to cross-reference.
