The button has light scratches on the front. The back is tarnished (due to age). Year Released: 2000 Size: 2.5 inch diameter Celebrate pin trading at the Disneyland Resort with this cast member worn pin trading pin back style button. This button was given to cast members to wear on the costumes in the year 2000 to promote the new pin trading program at the Disneyland Resort. The button not only advertised pin trading (which began at Disneyland in 2000) to visitors, but also showed guests which cast members had pins available to trade. The circular button has a 2.5 inch diameter. It has a red circle with "Pin Trading" and the Disneyland Resort logo. Inside the circle is a smiling Mickey Mouse. The yellow banner has a silhouette of Sleeping Beauty Castle and a starburst. Collectors Note: This button has the new (at the time) "Disneyland Resort" logo on it. This button was released prior to the opening of Disney's California Adventure (February 8, 2001) and Downtown Disney (January 12, 2001) which marks the transformation of Disneyland to the Disneyland Resort. It is an early piece of Disneyland Resort memorabilia and a souvenir of a time when big changes were happening at Disneyland!
