Vintage Dolce & Gabbana 1991 Runway Wool Chiffon Tube Wiggle Maxi Dress 40/US8

Amazing piece of fashion history! From the 1991 Dolce & Gabbana runway show. Various photos of similar styles shown from the collection. I believe this is a maxi dress, but could also be folded over and worn as a short dress or skirt. 100% wool body with sheer chiffon ruffled draping at the hem in varying burgundy shades. There are a handful of small repairs in the fabric, some of which are shown in the photos. A few small snags in the chiffon but not visible with the way it drapes. I believe a strip of fabric may have been added above the chiffon, shown in photos. It matches the rest of the fabric so not sure if this is how it was made or an addition.
