Vintage Donna Kae black velvet coat

This vintage Donna Kae Designs velvet coat is a rare one for sure. It's very heavy and feels so luxurious and glamorous- would look incredible with a pencil dress and some backseamed stockings. The hand stitched satin lining is very heavy, has some stains on the inside (pictured) and some slight yellowing of the satin around the seams. I have not tried to get the stains out so they could possibly be lightened or removed. The coat also features darts at the elbows for more articulated shaping, boning in the center back of the collar, and shoulder pads. They really don't make them like this anymore, the craftsmanship on this coat is divine. I'd be keeping this gem in a heartbeat but I'm 5' and sadly it's a bit overwhelming for my frame- I'd say this is a medium to large. Comment if you'd like measurements.
