Binding in good condition as it looks like the book wasn't really read except opening and closing the first few pages. There is some wear on the cover in the upper left and upper right corners. There is no writing. No rips or tears. It is a hardback book which shows it obviously has been handled. "The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins" by Dr. Seuss, published in 1938, has a book club edition. These editions were often produced for book clubs like the Junior Literary Guild and can be identified by the absence of the original publisher's logo on the spine and back cover.
