Vintage Dress from Domani Knits

This is one of those dresses that you're pretty sure you'll look like an idiot wearing... but you try it on and you like it. This is not a dress that wears you, it's a dress that looks good because you're in it. Seriously, you have to try it on to understand what I mean. I think Domani Knits are an Italian based manufacturer. I own a few pieces from them and they are amazing. They have a soft-spoken elegance that's entrancing. This dress looks to be vintage 1960s to 1970s. Its icy blue hue is complementary on almost any skin tone. There are four non-working decorative rhinestone encrusted buttons at the top, and a perfectly tied bow is sewn in place at the waist. The hem on this dress features a "scandalous" 8" slit, exposing a little leg on the lower left. (How awful! Have you no shame? 🤣). Other features include a comfortable scoop neck, and full zip closure at the back with a hook and eye to ensure a secure close. The fabric has a weighty, nice feel to it. I laughed when I tried it on, but I didn't laugh too much when I saw it on me. Beautiful drape. And... IT HAS A POCKET! The only flaws I've been able to find is that I cannot find the inner labels that have the sizing, fiber content, and laundering instructions, and the two top buttons have a few rhinestones missing.
