Vintage EPCA Bristol Silver 102 Silent Butler Crumb Catcher

This vintage electroplated silver hinged crumb catcher with wooden handle was used to collect crumbs or other debris from the dinner table and to dispose of the contents of ashtrays. Obvious tarnishing and minor surface scratches but in overall excellent vintage condition, in my opinion. I did not polish, as some people like the aged look. The piece is marked "EPCA Bristol Silver 102" on the underside. EPCA stands for electroplated copper alloy which is a higher quality of silver-plate hollowware.
