Gorgeous beaded clutch with bronze beading from the 1960’s. The beading is in excellent condition with no fraying or missing beads. The lining is similarly clean with the only issue being a separation of the silk from the interior lining. A quick stitch would resolve this. I don’t remember the clasp having anything special but have included a photo. This belonged to my mom, is in carefully used vintage condition, and is for sale to help make outstanding debts after our parents deaths

vintagebaubles @8_rarity_lane yes I agree! It's most likely from the late 50's early sixties as that was the time my mom would have been using clutches like this, it was always kept wrapped in paper in her bottom drawer. As a child I was fascinated by her beaded purses, I wish I didn't have to sell so much but it's one of those unfortunate no option situations. Thanks so much for your likes, it makes me feel better knowing that someone appreciates them

vintagebaubles @8_rarity_lane I agree, the vintage pieces are so beautiful and you rarely see the level of detail today, especially in the beaded purses. I have a beautiful glass bubble hurricane lamp from the 1930s-40's that I haven't had the heart to sell, just such beautiful workmanship!

houseoflarue @vintagebaubles I live in Florida. Daytona Beach. Not much for earthquakes but the hurricanes have been brutal the last 2 years. Growing up I lived on the west coast for 6 years. Whidbey Island, Washington... I remember a couple earthquakes. Nothing crazy.
