Vintage Emerson Creek Stoneware Pottery White and Yellow Iris's Large 8 1/2" Jar Vase Handmade USA. 1990's In Beautiful condition with no chips or cracks! White glaze color with a Motif of Lovely Yellow Iris's. The Terracotta color rim sets this lovely piece as an eye catcher :) Approx: 8 1/2" T x 7 1/2" W x 4 1/2" at the top opening and the base Approx: 3 Pounds. I do have a lovely small Vase listed with a Blueish Purplish Iris if interested. (Stoneware is a type of pottery that's made from clay and fired at high temperatures to create a dense, durable, and non-porous material. The firing process, called vitrification, makes stoneware glass-like and resistant to liquids. Stoneware is often opaque, but some pieces can be translucent.
