Vintage Emma Willard School in a 3D Glass Paperweight

The Emma Willard School', originally called Troy Female,is an independent university-preparatory day and boarding school for young women, located in Troy, New York. The first women's higher education institution in the United States, was founded by women's rights advocate Emma Willard in 1821. On the back is the seal reminiscent of the French églomisé style. The paperweight features the school color trim.  Proudly made in America. This is a piece of history in art form!
