This is a wonderful Vintage Empire Glass Works Cobalt Blue Glass Bottle. Likely produced in the 1970s as a bicentennial commemoration, the bottle features an embossed image of General Taylor, who would be none other than Zachary Taylor, who would go on the be the 12th President of the United States, on one side with “ Gen. Taylor Never Surrenders “ lettered around it and Empire Glass Works lettered above that, and an image of George Washington on the other side with “ The Father Of His Country “ lettered around it. Measuring appr 8” height, 5” width and appr 2” depth, this bottle, or flask or decanter, is in very good condition showing no chips or cracks to the glass and only minimal wear from age and handling, as can be seen in photos. Overall, a very nice bottle that would make an excellent addition to any vintage bottle or glass collection.
