Vintage Endymion "Its a Small World" Mardi Gras Doubloon Set, circa 1977

Complete six-piece collection/set of the 1977 Mardi Gras Endymion Parade Doubloons. The theme that year was, "It's a Small World." Set includes: the Purple, Green, and Gold (the official colors of Mardi Gras), plus a Blue and a Silver one to round out the set of doubloons thrown to the public during the 1977 Endymion parade. Plus the copper one that was only given to Endymion club members and their guests at the Endymion Ball after the parade. These special, collectible, doubloons are usually made of brass or copper and are much heavier (1.10 ounces) than all the other doubloons which are made of aluminum (.16 of an ounce). All are in excellent condition except for the green one which has lost some of it's color on one side, as depicted in the 3rd photograph. Truly a one-of-a-kind collection!!!
