100% silk, made in Italy rectangular Erte vintage Scarf.
Erté, ooriginally Romain de Tirtoff, born to a wealthy family November 23, 1892, St. Petersburg, Russia and moved to Paris in the 1920's. Erte died April 21, 1990, Paris, France. He was a fashion illustrator & sculpture of the 1920s and creator of visual spectacle for French music-hall revues.
