Vintage Etienne Aigner Woven Jute Cotton Woven Convertible Cross Body Purse Bag

This is a lovely vintage bag from Etienne Aigner. It is made from a combination of woven jute and cotton threads with a vinyl trim and strap. The strap is removable so that the bag can be turned into a clutch. It is in excellent vintage condition. It was owned by an older relative and I don't believe that she wore it at all! There is one small mark that I believe can be removed. The inside is lined with a soft white cotton with one zipper pocket and one envelope pocket. The bag has three large compartments. One on the front that is magnetized (the bag still has the original patent sticker for the clasp), the large main compartment which is closed by a gold tone metal clasp which locks into place with a little protruding button. The last compartment on the back is envelope style. I am not sure when this bag is from exactly. I would estimate it is likely from the 70's or later.
