Bundle of two pieces of Vintage Federal Glass, Madrid pattern, reproduction dinner plate and sugar bowl. Federal Glass reissued this pattern for the Bicentennial under the name "Recollection" Depression Glass. Both are amber in color. The plate is marked " '76 ", indicating a Bicentennial reproduction. (Indiana Glass later bought the molds, and removed the number.) The plate measures approximately 10.25" across, .75" high, with a recessed circular interior of approximately 8.25" in diameter. Has two - three barely-discernable tiny scratches (photo 8), with no other discernable scratches. The plate is in excellent vintage condition, with no cracks/chips/flea bites. The sugar bowl measures approximately 3.25" tall with a 3.50" diameter opening. I have not found the "'76" mark on the bowl, so it may be an Indiana Glass reproduction. There is a barely-discernable chip along the rim (last photo), and some very light roughness -- not flea bites -- around the base, mostly at the seams. No cracks/discernable scratches. In good vintage condition. Overall, the pieces are in good - very good vintage condition.
