Vintage Ferragamo-inspired bag

Vintage Ferragamo-inspired bag *not Ferragamo* I bought this bag in an antique shop on Rhode Island because it looked like a Salvatore Ferragamo bag. It is not a replica: it does not have the brand Ferragamo anywhere on the bag, but the small front buckle resembles the Ferragamo logo. It is made in China and has a scratch on the front as per the photo. It feels like leather, but I am not certain that it is leather. It is sturdy and hasn't budged since I bought it.
