Vintage Fine China Japan Cobalt Blue Ribbed Vases with Iris Flower Motif Set of 2. Excellent vintage condition, like new. This awesomely retro pair of vases look as if they walked out of a 1980's time capsule! Produced by Fine China out of Japan, they have a round body, or "shell shape," adorned with red and purple Oriental-style iris flowers on one side. They also have a subtle Art Deco inspired embossing which encircles the neck and drips down the front and back. The opening is also outlined in shiny gold. These would be beautiful as stand-alone pieces but even more striking paired together, whether flanking your mantle or on either side of the bed if you have matching nightstands. The bases of each are marked "Fine China Japan" These vases are in excellent vintage condition. There are no chips, no cracks and no crazing to either vase. The interiors of both are clean and stain-free. There appears to be no color loss, scratches or damage to the body or the floral motif images.
