This stunning Mid Century 1950's- 1960's Rose Brooch Pin By Flora Danica Eggert is truly one of a kind. How? You ask- Because no 2 flowers in nature are exactly the same. Each one has unique characteristics, just as intended. Flora Danica founded in 1952 in Copenhagen, and became one of the most famous jewelry companies of Denmark. -Their story began when a popular performing artist couple of the 1930's (Orla and Grete Eggert) became parents, and realized it was time to retire their dancing careers. Orla had an idea wanting to create jewelry based on the beauty of nature. Together, in their kitchen, they developed a unique technology for creating jewelry- Allowing them to Electroform natural materials; capturing nature's most beautiful and absolute intricate detail.
