Vintage French 5¢ Postage Stamp Sterling Silver Ring Art Deco

Rare, vintage handmade sterling silver ring made with an uncancelled antique French art deco postage stamp complete with kissing winged cherubs, circa 1900. (These were pulled from circulation in 1905.) I so LOVED this as it reminded me of my grandfather. He worked for the post office after serving with the Marines in WWII, and introduced me to collecting stamps at an early age. The ring registers approximately a 5.5 on my mandrel. Sadly, I cannot get this on my finger anymore. It is marked 925 for sterling silver inside the band. ** Some historical information on the stamp provided as well.
