Cage-type flower holders came in the form gridded domes, cylinders, and pyramids. They were available in a range of sizes suited to any container. The spaces of the grid also ranged in size to suit a variety of stem types. Cage flower frogs were considered especially suited to thicker stems such as tulips and lilies.
