Vintage Fur Felt tilt hat

This is a showstopper black genuine fur felt hat from the 1940s. A 'beret' stile oval brim , with fold tilt style cresting a very special look. There are two feathers and beads adorning the side of the brim. A narrow grosgrain band circles the rim. This is truly a very special hat. The black netting covers the face or can be pulled up Casual Fascinators Tilt hats were popular in the 1930s and 1940s. They were worn at an angle and held to the back of the head by a strap, rigid ring, elastic band beneath the hair, or a combination of these. Hats were normally worn asymmetrically and slightly tilted or propped to one side of the head.
