Vintage Garnet Pendant from India

I am selling this for a friend who is a jeweler. It is an item he took in trade and has decided to part with. It is a quality item! Please look at all of the pictures! I am guessing it was purchased 30 - to 40 years ago. I looked closely at the stone and I don’t see any defects or scratches. Please look at the setting! It is very detailed! The jeweler added a new silver chain that is 20 inches long. The pendant is roughly a half inch long.
