Vintage Genuine Opal Bar Pin 12K Gold Filled

Vintage 12K gold-filled bar pin with a genuine oval shaped opal in the center. Twists of gold on either end meet in the center and wrap around this kaleidoscopic opal. The pin fastens with a rolling"C" clasp that works perfectly. The opal measures 5/16 inch wide and 1/4 inch high, and the pin is 2 1/8 inches in length. The pin weighs 1.9 grams. On the back, there is a Hallmark "V.D." 12K GF stamped inside a small raised oval.
