The Berliner Kindl brewery began as a brewery club in Berlin, Germany, in 1872. In 1907, the brewery held a competition to create a trademark symbol. The winning logo, as shown on this glass, was called “Golden Boy in Jug." The strange baby-in-a-jug logo appears to illustrate the head of a baby with a lot of hair, presumably because they like a beer with lots of head!
Excellent condition, gold trim on logo, footed glass, 6 inches tall. Great souvenir, collectible, or addition to your bar.
