Vintage German Winter Scene Tin

This very nice rectangular vintage tin is made in West Germany. Stamped on the bottom of the canister is "KLANN QUALITY", "CONTAINER MADE IN WESTERN GERMANY". This container has a 3/8" wide foot all around its base, with ridges on it painted in gold. The box itself and lid have a base red color, with round gold frames around the sides, inside of which are full-color lithographed scenes of winter travel, a city in winter a country estate in winter, and a sleigh with horses and passengers. Around the lid is the same gold edging with ridges. On top of the lid is a large gold-framed picture of the fancy coach of nobility with luggage on top, pulled by four horses. This tin looks new and there are no notable scratches. Combine with one of our other tins to get free shipping! The base of this canister is 6-7/8" long x 4-3/4" wide. The rectangular container is 6-1/8" long x 4-1/8" wide. The canister is 2-11/16" deep. The canister stands 3-1/2" tall.
