Vintage Grey Waist Length Ramie and Cotton Sweater

This is an amazing sweater from the late 1980s that just won’t stop. The V-neck isn’t very low, the buttons are mother of pearl. The fabric is substantial but not heavy, no obvious pilling. You can wear it next to your skin because it’s a natural fiber that is soft and breaths. You could maybe put a camisole under it and wear it unbuttoned but it’s not the weight of fabric that you want to layer over any other kind of shirt. It’s great for casual wear or dressy.
