Vintage Guatemalan Mayan sterling silver pendant / brooch. Large round openwork design depicting a tribal sacrifice scene in center with a rosy gold overlay. Cut-out design of the quetzal bird wraps around the perimeter. The piece is convertible to wear as a necklace pendant or brooch, as the bail can discreetly pivot to the back when worn as a brooch.
