Vintage Gucci V Accornero Silk Jungle Scarf

Circa 1970s, this gorgeous and rare Gucci silk scarf features a jungle motif designed by Vittorio Accornero. Motif includes a variety of jungle animals such as giraffes, birds, zebras and tropical foliage with a black border. This 100% pure silk scarf is printed and hemmed by hand. The complex production phases involve many months of work: from the creation, tracing and drawing of the design, the screening of the printing frames (which may include the use of up to 36 colors) to the printing and finishing phases. This is the result of true artisan work: a precious product to be looked after with extreme care. Scarf is signed "Gucci" in their signature cursive and also shows the artist's signature "V.
