Elegant and classic Vintage hand knotted Pearl Necklace w matching bracelet. The Necklace measures 26" with creamy lustrous pearls and the bracelet measures 6 3/4". The knotting is tight, no pearls are missing and clasps work very well. The clasps are fishhook style and each is 14k gold. The clasps are marked and have been tested. Pearls are cool and gritty. This set is in gently used vintage condition and is being sold to meet outstanding debts after my parents deaths.

vintagebaubles @ktran467 yes they are, I took all the finer jewelry to a jeweler to have it checked out since I wanted to be sure- some of my moms, grammas, and grandpas( cuff links and bolo) pieces I clearly remember, can date, and even had very old receipts. But wanted to be sure to the greatest extent possible

vintagebaubles @ktran467 I’m sorry, this was my great aunts so I don’t have the receipts for it. I have to be honest that I only kept a handful of receipts, I wasn’t thinking about it properly and with many of them, we just looked at and talked about themanthes then they were discarded in the moving process when we shut down the house. I wish I had the foresight to save them, but at the time I didn’t think we would need to sell anything. Just wasn’t thinking

vintagebaubles @ponfar thanks for saying that, I did set the prices far far prices lower than was told to, so I could sell them quickly but that hasn’t happened. I know you can’t make a suggestion but if you did know of a site..I have a fair amount more that I just had professionally cleaned and polished and will be adding. My parents’ illnesses wiped them out financially and the funeral expenses were high. We’re so swimming in debt, its scary Any ideas, help, advice is appreciated!

vintagebaubles @ponfar thanks so much for your help, I’m really grateful. It’s not a position I thought I would be in, but if ever there was a case to show how broken our health care system is, it was my parents( who worked all their lives in public service) I’ll never forget that as I was absorbing my fathers paralysis( 2 weeks post stroke) and inability to speak - I was on the phone with the Blue Cross fighting the adjuster who was threatening if he didn’t make more progress they would discharge him home.

vintagebaubles @ponfar He weighed 200lbs, they had a small house where bathrooms and bedrooms were on the 2nd floor, he couldn’t speak and had movement in one hand - following a year after my mom... just terrible

msmeem @vintagebaubles don’t feel alone .. I sold my house & quit my job of 20 yrs to go take care of my dad last year until he died in Oct.. starting from scratch now 🤦🏻‍♀️apparently They didn’t have life ins although they should have had some minimal cvg if they worked for a State or gvt agency? Funeral exp should have been low.. those are only for us left behind 😢sounds like someone took advantage of u @ the funeral Home🤨hang in there hunny your not alone 😘👍🏼
