Vintage Handmade Drop-Waist Dress with Handkerchief Skirt

This vintage dress was handmade by a beginning seamstress, and is accordingly imperfect. Dress pattern was a size 10, but the skirt was an original creation. It comes with four pastel grosgrain ribbons, each three yards long, which can either go around the hips or the waist. The green ribbon has a small stain. Measurements: Shoulder to hem at the longest point, 42". Pit to pit: 19". Across the hips with the dress lying flat, 19.5". Fabric is light, textured cotton, like seersucker.
