Tribe: Navajo Metal: Sterling Length: 22" Weight: 5oz Era: 70's I am listing several Sterling Navaho items for a 86 year old gentleman who with his wife traveled to Vegas several times a year in the 1970's. Her main thing was to visit the local tribe Jewelry stores and add to her collection. She has since passed and he has asked me to liquidate some of her things.  I am sure you all know better than I how rare and desirable these (Hand Tooled) sterling larger Squash Blossom necklaces are. This, Navajo I'm sure, was made for a man, (Indian Chief), or woman and each Bead  measures 12 MM wide. The squashes are made connected to a bead rather than hung on by wires. Each of the 14 Squash Blossoms are 40 MM, or 1 1/2"  long and the necklace  weighs a little over 5 ounces. The Necklace is 22" long. All joints are Silver Soldered and it is strung on a Sterling Silver Square Box Link chain. It is in clean ( NO TARNISH ) pristine mint condition.
