jaxknapp @emer924 no. I have dozens of dirndls and have been wearing them for over 30 years. You have it backwards on the mannequin. The zipper on yours goes in the front.

emer924 This is all new to me . I think it would be so cute to have buttons in the front. If you zoom in on photo you can see breast darts sewn in on plain side. I bought it at an estate sale because it was so beautiful. Any info you can share with me would be appreciated.

jaxknapp @emer924 not to toot my own horn or anything but I'm kind of an expert on dirndln and the zipper on yours goes in front. I'm just trying to help. You'd have better luck selling if it you showcased it correctly on the mannequin. And those aren't "bust darts" on the back, they are seams that follow the natural curve of the back and shoulder blades. Those seams are on every dirndl I own.
