Vintage Handmade Twisted Multi-strand White & Brown Onyx with 14kt Gold Choker

A beautiful semi precious statement necklace designed by my grandmother and my father. His style is reminiscent of tribal chokers he saw during his travels— and is probably a signature style of his within my grandmother’s collection. I can always tell who was the mastermind behind what piece by the design. And this evokes a lot of the style my dad designed for her business. She had a jewelry business between 1960-1980, and sold a variety of different styles. The mix of white onyx, brown onyx, and 14kt gold creates a soft muted palette. From the clasp to the center, it is ~7”.
