Vintage Handmade12-Strand "Blue Iris" Seed Bead Necklace

Handmade vintage 1980's 12-strand glass seed bead necklace with a gold twist clasp. The color is described as a "blue iris", with a beautiful midnight blue hue with some deep purple throughout. This stunning necklace was handmade by my father and grandmother, and sold on the streets of Manhattan in the early 1980's. Recently, while cleaning out my late grandmother's storage unit, we discovered several handmade items by her and my father that have been kept safe for over 30 years. The length from clasp to clasp is 22"; from clasp to the center of the necklace is 10". This beauty is perfect for all types of occasions. Dress up for a night out on the town, or dress it down for a casual lunch with friends. It truly is an eye-catcher that doesn't go out of style.
