Vintage Hand-painted Caro-Nan Woven Wood Basket Purse Signed by Caro Nan Herself

Vintage (1960's - 1970's) New England style Caro Nan basket purse with wood handle and wood lid. This piece was hand-painted and the lid is signed by artist, Caro Nan herself. The basket is lined with a red floral quilted fabric. This purse was purchased from an Ivey's Department Store in Florida as noted on the inside of the lid. Mesures about 9 1/2" W x 8 3/4" T x almost 6" Deep The hand painting features a Central Florida theme with words and phrases like: Pinellas, Sea World, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Clearwater Beach, Citrus Open, Buena Vista, Funspree, Golf, This End Up, Thrill of a lifetime, etc... It does have signs of wear and use as shown in the pictures. Im hoping the person who purchases this purse will restore the worn paint to its former glory.
