Vintage Hardcover Edition of ‘The Little Prince’ by Antoine De Saint-Exupery

This is an English vintage print of the French book ‘Le Petit Prince’ in hardcover. A beloved book by many it really is an heirloom piece. What I love most about this particular one is the sweetest handwritten note dated December 1972. The writer of this note is giving this book as a gift (I presume) and says ‘Sometimes it seems we have known each other for years. Anyway, I am glad we found each other! Let’s hope for a truly happy new year, right?’ It is such a sweet little thing to find. I hope they did have a truly happy new year and a long friendship together. Perhaps this could be a good gift for you to share with someone you are so happy to have found! ‘I believe that for his escape he took advantage of the migration of a flock of wild birds.’ - The Little Prince Please note this is an old and used book. It has writing (the note) in the front cover, does NOT come with book sleeve and has slight bending on the corners and slight staining on cover. Still in good condition. Sold AS-IS.
