Vintage Harris pottery white speckled stoneware thumb jug

American made Harris Pottery (Chicago) thumb loop stoneware jug. Finish is considered white (blue) speckled stone ware. This jug has weight and weighs in at 2 lbs and 6 oz, so it’ll sit solidly in a location. The design on front is blue birds, flowers, and a center heart design. It is 9” tall. The top interior opening is 1-1/2” across. The Interior depth of jug is 8-3/4”. This jug came with 3 low profile felt pads on bottom. They have deteriorated over the years. But the felt could easily be added back to the bottom. The original Harris Pottery tag is on the bottom as it was originally positioned This jug graced my hearth for 20 years. Occasionally, holding dried flower stalks. It has never been filled with liquid. It is in excellent shape—no chips, scratches, cracks nor damage. The only issue that would keep this from being described as “factory perfect” is the loss of the 3 small felt protectors on the bottom. All my items come from a smoke free home
