Vintage coat/robe/cover-up by defunct New Orleans department store Godchaux’s and their collection called “Mr. Cabana”. I’m guessing this was for men to wear at the beach. It’s open on the front with two patch pockets, wide half sleeves, almost like a kimono shape. Two belt loops on the side but no belt, unfortunately. I’m a size 4 woman and I wore this as a light, oversized jacket with a mismatched belt and it was very cute. No material tag but I found some other vintage items in this exact fabric online and they say 100% cotton. There are a few spots of discoloration that are not noticeable but I pointed them out in photos. Men’s size Medium but see measurements, taken flat with jacket sides touching but not overlapping. Pit-to-pit: 26” Sleeve length from collar: 20.5” Length from shoulder to hem: 28”
