We are even inclined to pick up a known fake of our favorite collectibles for fun, learning, and comparison as we are to buy our hearts desire. I am offering for your consideration, an unidentified glass vase in a historical blue and yellow hearts and vines pattern - made famous by Tiffany Favrile. It appears that the original marks were ground off and replaced with the words " L C Tiffany Favrile". I have owned and sold authentic Tiffany glass, and I am extremely confident that this is NOT Tiffany. But what could it be? Lundberg Studios? The sleuthing adventure is just too much fun. And also, why? Who would do such a thing? I found this piece just outside of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
