Fantastic labels: HERMANN Teddy ORIGINAL in hard red scalloped edged medallion hanging with green thread. On tag: ALL HERMANN ORIGINAL plush animals are made by hand in the famous GEBR. HERMANN KG. company West Germany, founded in Sonneberg/Thuringen. sponge clean PA no 1871 The opposite side of the tag is written in German. Artikel / Item Np. 166306 On the back of the gold tag the description is written in French. Also a white with red hang tag attached to the bear under his left arm. 100% Mohair Backing 100% Cotton All New Materials Made In West Germany. This bear is 12″ x 7". He is just gorgeous. The red ribbon tied in a bow is adorable. His jacket is fine knit in gray with green trim. Along the green trim is red embroidery work. There are two 1/2" round gold tone buttons to finish the jacket. His lederhosen is also made of fine knit. Green with red embroidery trim around the front pocket. There is a single 1/2" gold round button on each side of his front pocket. At the "cuff" of each leg there is red trim as well. His eyes are black and brown. His nose is sewn on with brown thread. This bear is in excellent condition. Truly a handmade work of art. Thanks for looking.
