Vintage 1940s 40s 1950s 50s Higgins & Crosthwaite Sports Supply red wool letterman sweater in good condition. Cardigan style with V neck. Preppy collegiate varsity athletic sportswear athleisure retro academic look. Embroidered Kennett. Fits M. 24” neck to hem, 18” across bottom hem, 15.5” shoulder, 21-23” sleeve (21” when rolled up as shown in picture), 20.5” pit to pit, 19” bust, 18.25” waist. Three plastic buttons. Gold accent piping at sleeves. Two real pockets. Minor wear to letter as shown - corners curling up slightly. Some small holes at sleeve, shoulder area and middle of back as shown. Some areas of thinning to wool and 2 subtle stain areas. Overall in great shape for its age. Rare, no others from this brand currently listed online. Similar to Jantzen and Campus.
