Vintage - His Hers Hand Towels - 1940s - WWII - Wedding - NIB

Vintage, Antique, Authentic, NEW IN ORIGINAL BOX, Never Used! MR and MRS embroidered Linen Hand Towels from WWII Era. These hand towels were given to my Grandmother in 1942 for her wedding, but she apparently had no use for them. I can confirm this was during wartime, as my grandparents met while working at the War Bond office in Atlanta, Ga and were married shortly thereafter. Tropical, Beachy, and Hawaiian themes were in vogue during the war years, and many a southern bride received cute-sy gifts like these hand towels. The price sticker on the back indicates they were purchased from in Orlando, FL (from what I can tell). A true peice of history waiting for the right person to collect or use them. They appear to be a Linen material with a sheen. They are nude / pale pink w/ White embroidery and a Burgundy border. Box Length: 10 Inches If questions, please ask. Thanks for looking!
