Vintage Hobé Triple Stand Rhinestone Necklace.  1950s-1960s. •Gold-plated •Rhinestones (glass or crystal) purple, pink, and light purple •Hook clasp •Bead at hang chain MARKED/SIGNED "Hobé ©"  Hobé Jewerly was founded in Paris in 1887 by Jacques Hobé. His son immigrated to America in the 1920s and expanded their business, and went on to create jewelry and costumes for the renowned Ziegfeld Follies. And the term "costume jewerly" was born! Hobé became popular with Hollywood starlets such as Betty Davis, Ava Garnder, and Marilyn Monroe.
