Vintage Hobe' signed 12 1/2" white painted chain necklace with glass beads

I got this 12 1/2" white painted metal chain with seven clear faceted round and flat glass beads, in a box of jewelry at an auction; so I'm guessing it's age is 1970s or 1980s, based on the age of the jewelry box. The chain is painted white and slips over your head, there is a clasp, as seen in the photo, but it is not easy to open/close, by design. The necklace is signed "Hobe`" "Patent 3427891" and is simple yet classy enough to be worn with jeans and a sweater, or an evening gown with a plunging neckline!
