Vintage Homesewn 60s Mod Houndstooth Scooter Dress - Twiggy

Sweetest True Vintage Handmade 1960’s Scooter Pleated dress in retro sorta Psychedelic Op Art geometric houndstooth pattern of bright red and cream -- looks killer with red tights and knee-high go go boots! Groovy flattering shift dress with drop waist, fun flippy kick pleats, banded sleeves and neck, zippered back, unlined. Purchased from an estate sale in the late 90's, great vintage condition, perfect for hoping on your Vespa to go down to the pub. No maker labels or tags, fabric feels like some sort of knit, has stretch and I feel like the size is definitely flexible. Tiniest imperfection pinhole found near zipper, second to last photo, but only noticeable upon close inspection. Laying flat, measures 18" armpit to armpit, 16" across the waist, 15" shoulder seam to shoulder seam, and 36" in length. Very stretchy fabric - the "model" typically wore S and myself M/L. Wore to a "60's Soul Nights" NYE party in 2010 and was photographed in the Washington Post Express :) Wonderful dress, I just never wear it anymore and it is ready to meet its next owner.
