Vintage Horton Hatches the Egg Dr Suess Childrens Book 1950s-60s Poor Condition

Vintage Horton Hatches the Egg Dr. Suess Childrens Book-Poor Condition This has much wear and tear. This was mine as a kid and I looked at it a lot. Many years ago clear contact paper was used over the cover to keep the book together. Some writing on the inside and marks and it is embossed with my initials and there are a couple stickers inside. Approximately 11 x 8 inches. This was copyrighted in 1940 and again in 1968 but this particular book was probably printed in the late 50's or early 60's because it doesn't have the long verbiage as in other later editions.
