It is hand painted and hand glittered. Made in Germany by Inge-Glas for Old World Christmas. The two companies parted ways in 2000. Inge-Glas, well known for their quality Christmas ornaments since 1850, are easily recognized by their star-topped crown-cap marked, “Made in Germany”. An ornament without the star cap is not Inge Glas. The newer Old World Christmas Ornaments have a circle, not a star, atop the gold crown cap.
