Vintage Italian 800 silver with gold vermeil and hand painted enamel compact. This round compact features beautiful gold vermeil over 800 silver with an etched scroll design. Hand painted Italian lovers scene on one side, with painted faux lapis lazuli detail. Beveled mirror with etched frame inside. Includes pouf and powder screen, both in excellent condition. Measures 2 3/4" in diameter, 1/2" thick. Weighs 71.7g, 46.1dwt. Marked 800 Very nice condition with some slight surface scratching and tarnish.
