Vintage Italian 800 Silver Gondolier paddling your Gondola Black Marcasite Pin

This vintage Italian .800 silver pin / brooch is designed to evoke the memory of a Venetian gondola boat ride. The stones are made of marcasite, which and were created to sparkle and catch your eye. They are set in Italian 800 silver. The pin / brooch is 2 inches in length. It looks like at ine time it carried a makers mark, but it has long been worn off (there is a spot just under where the 800 is on the back. This piece  is perfect for any occasion to add flair to your wardrobe.  It can be a great gift for someone who loves travel, has been to Venice, Italy, or just hopes to! There are other pins depocting gondolas and gondoliers, but I haven't come across one of this quality.
