Vintage JACKIE-O chain and orb necklace, brassy orbs Ben-Amun-style 1980s chain

Vintage brassy gold necklace made with drop orbs on a heavy chain. No maker’s mark or stamp that I could find, but I believe it’s an 80s piece. From GLAMOUR mag: “Back in 1989, Jackie spotted [a] ball-adorned cuff by costume jewelry guru Ben-Amun in the window of Bergdorf Goodman—then sidestepped the retail markup and went straight to the source, the designer’s showroom, to score her own (girl after our own heart!). She wore it to a dinner at the Kennedy Library, and the piece later sold in a Sotheby’s auction for $29,000.” The necklace listed here is very much in keeping with those ball-adorned pieces designed by Ben-Amun in the 1980s. GUC as shown. Total length about 18”. Necklace is about 8.5” long when dangled clasped.
